The Creative Passion

Graphic Design Is My Passion! But Where Does Hair Styling Meet Graphic Design?

What do the two have in common? Well, a lot, despite what you might think!

I learned all about color theory in beauty school. They teach you that the main reasons to tone hair is to neutralize, enhance, and refresh the color. Hair stylists are practically chemists, having to sometimes mix a couple different shades of color to get just the right look. I learned about the geometry of the head and what shape haircut looks best on different people. The color wheel has obviously been ingrained in my head, and in my opinion, that’s where the two roads cross. My love of color comes naturally to me, it’s evident in my graphic design. Additionally, I also do my own makeup, and I love the freeform creativity that comes with it. When it comes to color, the world is truly your space to be as inventive and creative as you want to be!

Please message me with any inquiries, as I cannot wait to create something uniquely you and beautiful.

My Background

I grew up in Gilbertsville, PA the middle child of two brothers. I quickly learned that there’s so much more out there in this world than where I came from. I’ve been married to my husband for four years and he got me into taking cruises. After travelling around for a while, I admit my quality of life has increased millionfold. I’ve been lucky enough to see the Northern Lights in Greenland. I’ve seen the pink sand beaches in Bermuda. I’ve seen the tropical landscape of the Caribbean. It beats the heck out of how I started my life.

I worked in offices for most of my young adolescent life, unfortunately having the belief instilled in me that the creative type of jobs would never lead to anything stable. So, begrudgingly, I worked in office jobs, as most directionless confused kids do when they get out of college and can’t find a job doing something they love. I floated from office to office, hating my life, because I ultimately knew deep down that I was destined for more. I got married shortly after the pandemic, I quit my last office job, I got into beauty school, and I haven’t looked back. What I gained from my budding career working in offices was a sense of client satisfaction and how to achieve it. A big reason I’m a hairstylist is because I love the euphoric feeling of a happy satisfied client. When I see my clients look on their face after I styled and colored their hair, nothing beats it. I love being the go-to person that people choose to beautify their business. It’s the ultimate joy, and it’s something I don’t take for granted. I always remember where I started, and I can’t imagine how different my life would’ve been had I not listened to my inner voice (and had some coaching from a lovely caring support system.)

I’m hungry, I’m driven. I’ve had to be in my beauty career, as competitive as it is. But I’m ambitious. I aim to please. I’m ready to work with my fellow local Delawareans and even businesses and people beyond that. If there’s anything I can do to beautify your business, please message me!
